Update on Klyn Nursery Integration

I am writing to provide you with important updates regarding the integration of Klyn’s inventory into the operations of Petitti Family of Farms, effective August 5, 2024. This integration represents a significant milestone for us as we aim to enhance our service capabilities and streamline your ordering experience.

We are excited about the future of our combined business with the addition of Klyn to our family of farms. This integration marks a significant milestone as it allows us to offer new customers exposure to a more extensive inventory of containers from Ridge Manor and B&B from Losely. At Petitti Family of Farms, we are investing heavily in the future to become your one-stop shop, providing a streamlined ordering experience and consistency in our product offerings.

Similar to our acquisition of Losely, we have listened to customer feedback from those we have had the pleasure of working with and have learned what made Klyn a unique place. Our goal is to keep the Klyn inventory unchanged, and we are diligently working to preserve its unique offerings under our Petitti Family of Farms brand. Additionally, we are actively improving and enhancing your experience by building inventory that has historically been challenging to procure.

Here are the key details of this integration:

1. Container Availability: All container availability, including previously held Klyn containers, will now be managed under our Ridge Manor division. This consolidation ensures that you will find all container availability conveniently listed on a single, updated spreadsheet for your ease of access.

2. B&B (Balled and Burlap) Availability: Similarly, all B&B availability, including prior Klyn B&B materials, will be overseen by our Losely division. Like containers, B&B availability will be consolidated on a dedicated spreadsheet.

3. Pricing and Discounts: To provide clarity and consistency, we are standardizing pricing for each container size and B&B, aligning with volume-based discounts based on your total order amount:

– $5,000 to $20,000:                  10% discount

– $20,000 to $60,000:                15% discount

– $60,000 to $100,000:              17% discount

– $100,000 and above:               20% discount

Any adjustments to your terms or discounts resulting from this integration will be communicated to you directly by our team.

4. Expansion of Product Diversity: At Petitti Family of Farms, we are committed to expanding the diverse product range that Klyn is renowned for. Under our umbrella, we are increasing our field production capabilities for B&B and expanding our container selection under Ridge Manor. Since assuming operations on March 4th, we have already enhanced our propagation efforts to address high-demand items.

5. Changes to Sales Team Coverage: As part of our integration efforts, we have merged the Klyn sales team representatives into the Petitti Family of Farms structure. Going forward, each of you will be served by a unified sales team member assigned to specific geographic territories. Our sales team staff will reach out to each of you individually to provide more details on your designated representative and ensure a seamless transition.

1. Will the diverse product offering from Klyn be reduced?

No, we are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the diverse product offering that Klyn is known for. Our recent investments underscore our commitment to meeting the high demand for various perennials, shrubs, trees, and more.

2. Future of Klyn as a brand:

Klyn will continue to operate under its name within our organization, establishing a new division focused on serving as a landscape distribution hub. This division will offer fresh, high-quality above-ground B&B and a diverse container selection. We are currently expanding Klyn’s facilities to improve the shopping experience for our landscape customers, with a full-service launch planned for spring 2025.

3. Pick-up location for orders:

The Klyn shipping location will remain a pick-up point for your orders in the near term. We are actively evaluating potential enhancements to streamline our shipping process. Our sales and logistics teams will collaborate with you on each order to specify the pick-up location, whether it is at Klyn, Losely, or Ridge Manor.
